Substation is required to handle power with conversion from higher voltage to lower voltage. Different types of substations are required from Power generation to distribution up to consumer level. Substations are normally designated as 11/0.4KV, 33/11KV, 132/33KV, 232/132/33KV ..etc. Mainly two types of substation are normally required and which are Indoor type and Out door type.
